Margret Cordesmeyer

Margret Cordesmeyer is currently a postgraduate student at Bournemouth University studying Tourism Management and Planning (MSc). In 2009 she successfully graduated in International Cruise Industry Management (BA hons) at Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences in Germany. Her dissertation about the perception of safety in the cruise sector was awarded best student research paper at the International Cruise Conference in 2009. In 2006/07 she also studied for two terms at the University of Plymouth (BSc hons) Cruise Operations Management. She gained working experience during her placement with the German shipping company Hapag-Lloyd Cruises on board MV Bremen and shore side, worked for a German cruise agency and gained international experience during her year working in the United States in Virginia.
